Can I wash my Vitreluxe glass in the dishwasher?

Our products can generally be safely washed in the dishwasher, however we recommend that to best preserve the beauty of your handmade pieces, you consider hand-washing them when possible, as artisan glass is not as resistant to damage as that which is commercially produced. Regardless of your washing method, please do not use dry detergent. A gentle liquid soap is ideal--dry detergents will bond with the glass and cause surface etching over time.

What is your return policy?

We are a small, independent maker of glass, not a mass producer or superstore, so we are happy to answer any questions about products before you buy so you won't need to make a return.

Online sales are provided to make it easier for people outside my region and the areas served by my retailers to acquire Vitreluxe glass. However, we understand that occasionally an item may not be what you expect and will happily accept your return within ten business days, minus a 20 percent restocking fee. The original packaging must be used and it must arrive undamaged and in perfect condition. In order to process you return, you must email us at goods@vitreluxe.com and include your order number, name and email address used to place the order so we can process your credit, minus the 20 percent restocking fee.

This is the beauty of handmade glass! Vitreluxe is proud to offer the highest quality and craftsmanship in our field. Because each piece is made by hand, one at a time, there will be some variation in size, color and shape--your piece is truly unique!
